As shown at IMTS2018, this video shows the progression of BIG KAISER fine boring heads. In the past, the EWN boring heads were manually adjusted with a dial screw and vernier scale. Currently the EWE boring heads feature digital adjustments and connect to the BIG KAISER app. The next step is the EWA boring head that will adjust automatically after receiving input from connected software. This technology is being developed and will be commercially available sometime in the future.
